Spell Check in DWA

We recently upgraded to Domino 8.5 from 6.5 and found that spell checking did not work in DWA. We replaced the dictionary which resolved the issue. Now we have applied the Hot Fix and we have the spell check issue again. Unfortunately replacing the dictionary did not resolve the issue this time. Any ideas?
